Welcome to the PATC Books area of our store. We're particularly proud of the books we publish as a club - many are written by highly talented authors who are also club members. Our books take you deeper into the culture and past ages of our trail region - and in some cases, are unavailable anywhere else. Have you ever wondered what happened to the "mountain people"? Have you ever explored the backcountry wondering what the area was like 100 years ago? Curious about how some of the local towns were named? It's likely one of our publications will provide the answer. To assist you in make some bewildering choices, excerpts from club publications have also been included.

Certainly, no bookstore would be complete without other publications to support your outdoor adventures. Our club Publications Committee has extensively reviewed many other outdoor publications, and settled on the small group you see below. The Committee considers them the very best source of information available in their respective subject areas.

We hope you enjoy perusing our selections. And remember, unlike other "for-profit" commercial book-sellers, the proceeds from every book you buy are rolled back into the club to support our ongoing trail, shelter and cabin maintenance efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region.
