Map 4. AT Michaux State Forest, PA (US-30 to the PA-MD State Line) Edition 10, 2009 This map covers Section 14 (17.9 miles) of the A.T. as described in the A.T. Guide for Pennsylvania. Featuring popular, close-in Michaux State Forest in Pennsylvania, this edition is printed on water-resistant, tear-resistance synthetic stock in 6 colors at a scale of 1:55,750 and contour interval of 20 feet. The extent of State forest and park parcels are shown by area-filled color tints. Edits have been made to the road/trail networks and park boundaries to insure currency. New to this edition are parking lots shown to aid the hiker in trail access. The map contains enlargements of the area around Chimney Rocks south to the Old Forge Picnic Area as well as an enlargement of the village of Pen Mar at the PA-MD border. GPS friendly with UTM grid lines plotted 5 kilometers apart.
