Harmony. Trip begins on Friday evening with an informal potluck supper and
dance and ends on Monday with breakfast; 7
meals included. Camp Harmony has over 100 acres available for cross-country

By February
each winter, the Tug Hill Plateau is awash in lake-effect snow from Lake
Ontario just to the west. Skiable snow stays in the area through March and
often into April. We will do both backcountry skiing and skiing at one or
more ski touring centers. Many miles of backcountry skiing and snowshoeing
are available in the Winona State Forest (http://www.winonaforest.com/activities.html)
and at Barnes Corners (http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/7879.html and
http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/8375.html). For over a decade STS members have
enjoyed well-maintained, beautiful track skiing at the Osceola Tug Hill ski
touring center (http://www.uxcski.com/). Skiers will
drive to Pulaski on Thursday, ski Friday - Sunday, and return on Monday. If
snow conditions on the way look promising, some skiers may depart late
afternoon on Wednesday and motel that night in PA so they can ski Thursday
afternoon at Highland Forest State Park south of Syracuse, NY

driver(s) of each STS vehicle will receive $100 as recompense for his/her

providing their own transport. Participants pay for their food and ski center
